Expedia Targets Korea For Mobile Marketing Campaign

Expedia Group plans to make improvements to its mobile platform in order to accommodate global travelers, especially customers in Korea. So reports The Investor.

The U.S.-based online travel company plans to “closely review feedback” from Koreans, as more than 50% of their bookings are done using mobile devices.

Gabriel Garcia, global head of Expedia’s Mobile Apps Marketing, said the decision to emphasize Korea came at the end of last year. The company is also planning to launch its Add-On Advantage service, which allows customers who book flights to find discounted hotel rooms.
