AVOD Driving Australian Ad Spending, Which Could Hit $17B

GroupM, Australia’s top media purchasing agency, is expecting spending to jump “across nearly every medium” to $17 billion next year. So reports the Australian Financial Review.

The company is anticipating a 4.4% bump from 2018, where spending is expected to finish at $16.5 billion. Ad supported video on-demand (AVOD) is expected to experience the most growth. Regional TV and print are both expecting to see decreases in spending, according to GroupM.
