Bucking Trend, Only 7% of HK Consumers Trust Local Brands: Study

A new McCann Worldgroup study shows only 7% of Hong Kong consumers trust local brands. So reports Marketing Interactive.

The “Truth about Global Brands 2: Decoding the Shifting Dynamics for Brands in Hong Kong and Southern China” report also showed, more broadly, 64% of those in China trust local brands compared to global ones, contrasting the Hong Kong respondents. Compared to 2015, consumers around the world trust local brands more and global brands less.
