Korean Boycott Plummets Japanese Ad Market

Japanese product advertisements in South Korea dipped dramatically as Japan continues to restrict exports from its neighbor. So reports The Korea Bizwire.

Management firm Media Audit Korea reported Japanese advertisements in television, newspaper, radio and magazines are down 76% in July and August 2019 from the same period the year before. "None of the Japanese non-banking financial institutions were found to have spent on advertising in July and August,” according to the article.
