Australian-Chinese Newspapers Feeling Ad Pressure from Chinese Government

Chinese-Australian news outlets Vision China Times and The Epoch Times said more businesses are pulling advertisements from their papers after taking pressure from the Chinese government. So reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

John Xiao, the Melbourne-based The Epoch Times director, said he believes the Chinese government has put increased pressure on Chinese-Australian media. Hong Kong protests have led a number of companies to fear retaliation from the Chinese Communist Party.
