Facebook Suspends Thousands of Apps Due to Privacy Concerns

Facebook says that, during the past year, it has suspended thousands of apps from about 400 developers it believes improperly gathered the personal information of its users. So reports MarketWatch.

Separately, recent court filings related to an investigation into Cambridge Analytica inappropriately accessing data of 87,000 users shows that Facebook has suspended 69,000 apps.
