LivePerson, which provides cloud-based business messaging technology, has launched LiveEngage for Bots, which can run multiple bots for marketing and customer servicing functions. So reports EContent.

According to LivePerson, the technology seeks to treat bots as agents that are capable of real-time measurement, management and visibility for managers, which makes the technology similar to live representatives.
