Treasury Department Sanctions Russian Internet Trolls, Others

The U.S. Treasury Department has announced new sanctions against 19 Russian individuals and five organizations including the Internet Research Agency in response to broad social-media trolling that sought to influence the 2016 election. So reports Wired.

Details of the trolling campaign were recently disclosed in an indictment by special counsel Robert Mueller.
