U.K. Regulators Scrutinize Amazon and Deliveroo

Amazon’s plans to make a substantial investment in restaurant food and groceries delivery company Deliveroo have caught the attention of the United Kingdom’s Competition and Markets Authority. So reports netimperative.

The Competition and Markets Authority fears that the deal could result in lower quality services and higher prices for both food vendors and customers. Deliveroo maintains that the investment will add to competition, help restaurants grow their businesses, create jobs and increase choice for customers.
