Colin Mitchell, leader of McDonald’s marketing team since last year, is leaving the company. After the previous CMO, Silvia Lagnado, stepped down, the CMO responsibilities were split between other executives. With Macrow’s appointment, the organization is reviving the centralized marketing role.
Macrow will be focusing on how to help the brand recover from the hit its taking from the coronavirus pandemic.
