Ford Taps eBay CMO to Lead Global Marketing

Ford announced it has hired Suzy Deering as its new global CMO. Deering will take the reins on January 4 and report to Kumar Galhotra, President of Ford Americas. So reports Ford Authority.

Ford2Deering joins Ford from eBay, where she served as North America CMO for more than five years. Deering will take over for Joy Falotico, who had been serving as both head of Ford marketing and president of Lincoln Motor Company for three years. Falotico will now focus solely on her role with Lincoln.

“We’re putting more decision-making in the hands of our people who are closest to customers,” Galhotra said, according to the article. “Technology will be a powerful part of Ford’s transformation and how we enhance and release the huge value of our iconic brands.”
