NFL’s Chiefs Looking for CMO

The reigning AFC champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, are searching for a Chief Marketing Officer.

KC CHiefs"Our team has delivered historic performances on and off the field and we plan to build on that success through the addition of a talented Chief Marketing Officer to lead our growth locally, regionally, nationally and internationally," Chiefs President Mark Donovan said in a statement. Donovan said the CMO will work with the senior executive team and “focus on capitalizing on the unprecedented popularity, social media presence and marketing power of our players, team, Chiefs Kingdom and the Arrowhead experience."

The Chiefs also said it has hired Rob Alberino as the Vice President of Content and Production. Alberino served Vice President of Media and Marketing for the Chiefs from 2010 to 2013. During that time he oversaw the Chiefs’ media partnerships and in-house production team and its digital operations on Chiefs.com. In his new role he will lead all of the club’s short-form and long-form content efforts.
