The campaign, which comes a year after Reddit opened its London headquarters, aims to raise awareness and engagement in the UK, its second largest market. It also seeks to gain interest among advertisers.
The campaign is "brilliantly absurd, candid, eclectic and self-aware,” CMO Roxy Young says, according to The Drum. “We always try to ensure that our marketing feels uniquely Reddit by leaning into our brand traits.
The campaign, “Maybe Together We’ll” is inspired by pandemic activity where online communities were driving action in the real world. The campaign shows viewers many of the communities and possibilities on Reddit—from skincare to dog adoption.
“Our priority is to encourage more people to dive into Reddit and to find their community by showcasing and celebrating the UK users who are already adding so much to the platform,” Young says.
