- She also pointed to God-is Rivera, who runs culture and community at Twitter. “She is all about elevating diverse voices on Twitter through events, experiences and conversations. We try to be very present and engaged so we can learn and truly serve those customers better.”
- Diversity is not a “nice to do” at Twitter, it’s a “must-do,” she said. “We must look like all the communities we serve around the world.”
- When asked about criticism that Twitter had allowed harassment and bullying, especially towards women, she said that it was a :huge problem when I started in 2016” and that the firm has made tremendous progress since then. “But this is always-on work that doesn’t end… Every employee at Twitter cares about this. People need to come to Twitter and feel safe.
