NBCUniversal Slashes Peacock Marketing Jobs

NBCUniversal has announced layoffs focused on its Peacock streaming service’s marketing department. So report The Wrap and Variety.

PeacockPeacock’s chief marketing officer, Shannon Willett, wrote in a memo to staff that the cuts were part of a restructuring “that will enable us to work smarter.”

NBCUniversal Entertainment and ad sales were two other divisions included in the layoffs, which will reportedly affect around 50 employees overall.
