Some Firms Tapping In-House Agencies for Super Bowl Ads, Events

Some of the country’s biggest brands turned to in-house creative for this year’s Super Bowl advertising and marketing campaigns. So reports DigiDay.

volvo car 1465448 1280For example, Procter & Gamble’s in-house team was responsible for conceptualizing, writing and casting a pregame spot for its Secret brand. The team also helped edit, design and revise the spot. Since the summer, the Secret Deodorant team has been handling more of its creative and planning work in-house, providing it with cost saving and greater speed to market.

Verizon also turned to its in-house agency, 140. The agency is tasked with managing “on-the-ground social media content captures and marketing” for Verizon during the event, according to DigiDay.

Volvo is another well-known name using its in-house team. The company is using its internal resources to manage its Super Bowl Sweepstakes. Volvo is offering a chance to win a care if one of the teams scores a safety in the Super Bowl.
