Stockholm Moves Against Offensive Ads

The Stockholm City council voted to take down racist and sexist advertisements from billboards around the city. So reports New Europe.

The council will now process complaints already made and companies will have 24 hours to remove offending advertisements. In 2016, the Swedish Advertising Ombudsman reported as many as 1,000 gender discrimination complaints per year.
