73% of Brands Have Increased Influencer Spending: Study

Nearly three quarters (73%) of marketers have thrown more resources behind their influencer marketing efforts this year, according to a new study from Takumi, an influencer marketing agency. So reports The Drum.

arrows 311332 640 smallSpending increases were most prominent in the retail, legal and manufacturing industries. The report also notes that return on investment (ROI) for “influencer marketing is higher than traditional advertising—a sentiment borne out of the 60% of marketers who agree.”

The study surveyed 3,500 consumers, marketers and influencers in August.
