Tinder Turns to Pizza Hut for CMO

Tinder has named George Felix as its new CMO. The previous CMO, Jenny Campbell, left Tinder late last year to join Kate Spade & Co. So reports Media Post.

tinderTinder says it hired Felix for his ability to “reintroducing classic brands to new audiences” and make them the “center of cultural conversations” amid the dating app’s push to attract more Gen Z users. Tinder is 8 years old.

Felix was previously CMO of Pizza Hut. Felix spent about six years at Yum Brands, where he helped modernize KFC and Pizza Hut. Before that he spent more than half a decade at Procter & Gamble, where he was recognized with many awards including “10 Cannes Lions, two Effies, and an Emmy for Best Commercia,” according to the article.
