Don’t Miss These 5 Marketing Conferences Before the End of the Year

Here are five events that are worth checking out—and attending in person (when applicable) if it is safe to do so, according to a recent Forbes column from John Hall, co-founder and president of scheduling and time management app Calendar.

“CMO Huddles is a membership-based organization that brings together and empowers an elite group of chief marketing officers (CMOs) to ‘share, care, and dare each other to greatness,’” according to the article.

eCommerce Week LA, a virtual only conference on September. 27 - October 1, 2021

The event, which is hosted by Hawke Media, will feature CEOs, pro athletes, top authors, and “true change-makers.”

“Listen and learn from their stories, advice, failures, and successes while networking with thousands of peers, mentors, and hopefuls.”

Content Marketing World, held in Cleveland, Ohio on September 29 to October 1, 2021

This event will be hosted in person, but is also available as a digital experience. The event’s theme is “Connections.”

Geek Out, an in-person event held in Los Angeles on October 7-10, 2021

“We f***ing hate typical marketing events with speakers telling feel-good stories and then pitching from the stage,” reads info from the website.

“From traffic to leadership, Geek Out is focused on topics that will provide ROI for your campaigns and businesses alike,” according to the Forbes article.

Retail Ascendant and Digital Ascendant Gatherings held in New York City on October 26-28

In addition to the live, no-press conferences, the events will be streamed live.

Retail Ascendant will be held on October 26 and focuses on the omni-experience reset. Digital Ascendant will be held on October 27-28 and focus on “re-designing the marketing organization to deliver innovation, performance, and growth.”
