BoA CMO Retires, Firm Nixes Role

Meredith Verdone, CMO of Bank of America, is leaving the bank and the role is being eliminated. Her exit comes after four years in the role. She has been with BoA since 1999. So reports Fintechzoom.com.

Bank of Americ Logo 2The CMO role is being “integrated with chief digital officer David Tyrie’s team,” according to the article. The move was announced internally via email and comes amid other leadership changes at the firm.

Verdone’s retirement will formally occur at the end of the year. She reportedly does not have another gig lined up currently and has told Business Insider that she is thinking about working at a startup or non-profit.
