CNN CMO Resigns as Fallout from Cuomo Investigation Continues

CNN said Allison Gollust, the network’s CMO, has resigned following an independent investigation that found she violated news division standards. So reports AdAge.

CNNThe violations were uncovered during an investigation into ex-anchor Chris Cuomo and his behavior related to the events surrounding his brother Andrew Cuomo, former New York governor, who resigned amid a wave of sexual harassment allegation.

The investigation found that Gollust, Chris Cuomo and then president Jeff Zucker violated CNN standards. Cuomo was fired late last year and Zucker stepped down as president earlier this month for failing to disclose his relationship with Gollust, which was consensual.
