Bozoma Saint John Exits, Netflix Names New CMO

Netflix has promoted Marian Lee to CMO after the departure of Bozoma Saint John. So reports Variety.

NetflixSaint John’s exit is being described as mutual and amicable, but as of press time, few details about the reason for her departure or what she’ll be doing next have emerged. Saint John joined Netflix in 2020.

Lee, who joined the company eight months ago, had been serving as vice president of marketing in the U.S. and Canada. “Marian is a strategic marketer with deep experience not just in entertainment but also more broadly having worked at fashion and media brands,” co-CEO and chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. “When she joined Netflix last year, she had an immediate impact on the marketing team and has demonstrated that she’s an exceptional leader, who understands how to drive conversations around brands and popular culture.”
