Ad Filmed at Nazi Death Camp: Sunglass Company Offers Mea Culpa

Australia's Valley Eyewear apologized for using footage of models at the Jasenovac death camp run by Croatia's Nazi "puppet regime." So reports BBC News.

The company said it filmed at the WWII-era camp with the aim of paying homage to the architecture, but was unaware of the site's history, the company's director said. The campaign drew criticism on social media and the ultimate decision to drop the material came after the head of the site requested it be removed.
