Gambling Companies Double Down on Marketing

Data from Standard Media Index shows gambling companies across Australia are spending more on advertising, now up to $140 million through July. So reports European Gaming.

The increase comes despite stricter regulations about when ads can be shown online and on television. Gambling ads are banned from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during live sports for the sake of children. Gambling revenue is up 30%.
