Tom Dery: Ads Can Still Help Build Brands

Despite a difficult advertising market, outgoing Saatchi Australia chairman Tom Dery lamented he still believes in the power of advertising with respecting to building brands. So reports Australian Marketing Review.

Dery has spent 24 years with the company, dating back to its 1995 inception. In 2015, Dery was made an officer in the Order of Australia for his not-for-profit work and is the chairman of the Australian Cancer Research Foundation as well as the Indigenous mentoring organization AIME. However, he is not quite ready to completely bow out of the advertising game.
