LinkNYC Kiosks Fall Short of Revenue Expectations

Revenues from the approximately 1,800 LinkNYC Kiosks in New York City that provide electronic billboards and free digital services, such as USB device charging and local telephone calls, have missed their revenues goals by $21 million from 2015 to present. So reports the Gotham Gazette.

CityBridge, which operates the kiosks, is required to pay the city $500 million in licensing fees from 2014 to 2026 and $750 million in guaranteed revenue by 2029.
