Black Exec CMO Alliance Launches Playbook

The Black Executive CMO Alliance (BECA) launched the BECA Playbook, which seeks to “challenge the corporate diversity gap and transform the future of business by building the next generation of C-suite marketing executives.” So reports Black Enterprise.

BECAThe initiative is a major commitment by some of the biggest brands in the country tackle the barriers keeping Black executives from advancing their careers.

The playbook offers:

  • Mentorship and coaching
  • Access to a network of top Black marketing executives
  • Education to help close marketing skill gaps
  • “Branded credentials for certifications that matter to marketing leaders”
  • A network to share and learn from

The inaugural group of this mentorship program will consist of 25 high-potential Black marketing pros in the middle of their careers. The program will prepare them for leadership roles at top organizations and help them propel their careers.
