The new funding brings the total raised by Community, which launched in 2019, to $90 million. The company has raised money from investors, such as Ashton Kutcher, to “build an app where celebrities and influencers could send texts directly to their fans.”
Paul McCartney and JLO were some of the first to use the app. Now, the company has expanded its scope beyond celebrities and is now targeting business customers
The platform can be used to send out messages to individual recipients, small groups or mass groups.
